Welcome Home...! Thats how it feels like when Shanti greets you and to be staying here. Its tidy, clean, well organised and spacious. The rooms all have a kitchen and a lounge area, where you can eat/work as well as a balocny or patio. Its not as quiet as I was hoping for (or got used to in Ubud), but the vicinity to the beach makes up for it. Its also only 15min to the airport, maybe even less if empty roads.
Shanti kindly offered us her scooter too, which was super helpful. She is a perfect host! Thank you Shanti, I hope to see you again with my little son one day!

This place is just amazing! The room is very clean and huge, it’s more an apartment than a room, beautiful indoor bathroom and outdoor shower as well. The kitchen is big and fully equipped. Wonderful bedroom with a super comfy bed, a wardrobe and a tv. There is a terrace facing a super quiet outdoor pool. Just 5 minutes walking from Jimbaran beach. On top of that Shanty, the owner, is a lovely woman, always ready to help you out! We loved our stay at Donguri house and were looking forward to go back!
I absolutely loved my stay here, and truly appreciate the help and friendship of manager Shanti. The "Villa" had a bedroom, huge bathroom, and combined kitchen and living area, plus an outdoor porch eating area. It was clean and comfortable, with a great location, and very quiet (except be prepared for the intercom announcements at 7:00 a.m. from the nearby School). My apartment was in a building with four units, surrounded by a 8 ft privacy / security fence with locking gate, and its own small swimming pool. I especially like that there was a free bottled water dispenser, full size refrigerator and functional kitchen! I would highly recommend a stay here. Shanti, the manager is it wonderful woman who truly cares about her guests.
We stayed for 16 days in the upstairs unit furtherest from the staircase.
We were very comfortable and found it to be more private than the downstairs units.
Our host Shanti couldn't do enough to help us, which was hugely appreciated.
We loved the bath tub, but thought a shower curtain would help as water ran out onto the floor.
The gas stove was wonderful, the fridge was adequate, a little lacking on crockery, I should have bought a few items as plates are really cheap at Hardys maybe $1 each
The pool was small but big enough for a cool down.
Bring your own floaties as they are extremely expensive in Bali
(Leave them behind its such a lovely gesture)
Its a very quiet location

Security is great with a lockable front gate
With only four units this accommodation is quieter than most.
Walk to the beach is around 200 metres with gorgeous rolling waves and stunning sunsets to the west
Its a more expensive area to stay in this area but grab taxis are a good option for transport.
We went to Kuta for massages cost us around $6 Australia dollars for transport to Kuta
This unit was cleaned to perfection
We didnt want the every three day clean and opted for once a week
Ask for the electricity code to be sent to you from the owner if you hear beeping coming from the meter.

We stayed 6 nights here and it was great. It was very close to the beach (where we spent every day). Shanti (and her family) who owns and runs Donguri House Bali was super friendly and at the end of a telephone if we needed anything. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was great having the pool, although we did not use it. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Bali. Thank you Shanti x
